Prayer Center 

The Warriors of Prayer meet the first and third Sundays of every month in the Prayer Chapel at 6:30 pm.  They pray for the mission and ministry of our church plus offer up intercessory prayer for our membership, our missionaries, and people in the community.  If you feel that God is calling you to this important ministry, please join us on our meeting night.

A Concert of Prayer is held quarterly on a Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  They are times of prayer, praise, and healing.  Please contact the church office for details on the next one.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets at two different times during the month.  It meets on the 2nd Monday at 7pm and the 3rd Monday at 10am.  The members knit or crochet prayer shawls to be given to shut-ins or people in the hospital who need an extra touch of God’s comfort.  The patterns used are in sets of three:  for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Anyone who is interested in learning to knit or crochet is also welcome at the meetings.  Email Edie Comstock at prayer@cabotumc.com (This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Prayer Chapel located up the steps to the right of the library is open and available for private or group prayer during the hours that the building is open.  There is a door hanger to let you know if the room is in use or available.
