Library We are blessed at CUMC with a wonderful room for our church library. It is spacious and inviting and has a growing collection of both Christian and appropriate secular reading. We believe there is great value in reading, viewing and listening to Christian and classical material. In the short time we have had to develop our library we have made a strong effort to make available an extensive collection of good reading materials. In addition to books, we have some audio books, movies and CDs We have an inviting area set aside for children, which is designed to fit their needs. Occasionally we offer a story hour, and we frequently purpose a summer reading challenge to encourage readers of all ages to sharpen their skills. There is also a yearly book fair. At the present time we have two book clubs available. Both the Women’s Book club and the Girl’s Book Club meet once a month for lunch and discussion following the 10:30 church service. Since even more interest has been expressed, we are planning to offer additional clubs for various age levels including boys and men. Books can be building blocks in developing character while gaining knowledge and exercising our minds. We are grateful for the opportunity to offer books promoting Christian values to our members and the community. Take time to visit our library. All kinds adventure, both educational and spiritual, await you just inside the door. Library Staff: Pat Shaltes, Allison Judd, Kathy Wimer
