Keeping On

What is Keeping On? 

Keeping On is a ministry of the Cabot U M Church and a PFOX affiliate.  It is a support group for families who have loved ones struggling with the complex issues of homosexuality. As a support group for families we provide a safe place where individuals can open their hearts and wait upon the Lord. 

Our Mission is to provide encouragement, support, understanding and education for the family.  

Our Goal is to help family members have the courage to be open and honest so they can properly deal with this complex issue. 

We Meet on an “as needed” basis in a private home. In this setting we share our concerns in strict confidentiality. We strive to educate family members on the root causes of homosexuality through personal testimonies, individual sharing, written materials and a variety of audio-visual resources. We discuss such topics as:

• How to pray for those involved in this lifestyle.
• Trusting God with our loved one.
• Healthy boundaries
• Change is possible.

 We take time to laugh and remind ourselves that God is in charge AND  we pray.
