"Music Ministry Defined. A church ministry is an action or service that is done in response to God's call on a person's life. The music ministry uses music in some way to serve God. ... Although the choice of song and style of music differ across congregations, the definition and purpose of a music ministry are universal."

How is God calling you? Are you a singer? A drummer? A guitarist? A keyboard player? Do you have a passion for sound? Here at Cabot we have a place for you!

Our choir meets weekly September through May on Tuesday evenings at 7 PM. Whether you are an accomplished singer and reader of music or a newcomer who loves to sing loud and proud, we welcome you. The fellowship you'll experience in this group is a joy! We support one another on our journey through life through laughter and prayer and the word of God in sung expression.

Our praise team rehearses on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM. Please see Paula if you are interested to find out how to get involved or drop in to our rehearsal in the sanctuary. This group, too, is a loving, supportive group of God's people who, beyond being great musicians and sound staff, stand by you on the journey of life.

Not a singer, you say? Get involved with our Bell Choir directed by Linda McCall. She welcomes you to this wonderful group. The bells play on the first Sunday of the month, typically. Reading music is helpful, but not a necessity!
